this was created by poutlining the general shape pf a face. I them used a mesh gradient in order to replicate the smooth transition of skin throughout the face. originally I tried tp do this with a gradient but attempts to create the shadow for the nosee and eyes proved unsucessful. I should also pointout that in the entire face nothing was made using any black outlines. the whole face's details were all made varying skin tones. this was to help give it a realistic feel as in the real world we make out face by how the shadows fall. the hair while difficult was created by referencing other hair and a techniques I found online. by overlaping the hair you give it a more 3d effect as well as increases the amount of contrast you can place in the hair. its important to create contrast because its really what takes hair from basic to acceptable. overall t his was a fun project and I think I learned several new techniques through the process.
